Teachers will provide snacks and water. We will have lunch when we return to school.

Students may bring books, a blanket, and a special snack.

5:00-7:00 Lincoln School Family Picnic


Thursday and Friday:

Half days!

  January 31 - February 4 Exciting News I am thrilled to share that we will have a student from Western Michigan University’s College of Education joining us in the role of Pre-Intern for the next few months.  His name is Anthony Allen. He will join us all day on Mondays and Wednesdays.  In this role he will observe my teaching and get to know the children.  Over time he will take on additional responsibilities such as instructing small groups, lesson planning, teaching whole group lessons, and trying out all the different things he’ll need to do during his primary internship and subsequent teaching career. When I shared this news with the class they were excited, but a few expressed concerns that things will be very different.  I reassured them that I am not going anywhere! Week 26

  March 14-18 Since we do not have school on Monday we will do our National Potato Chip Day activities on Tuesday.  If you’d still like to send in some chips please sign up here. Coming up 3-18 National Let’s Laugh Day is March 19. We will share jokes on Friday. Please practice a joke with your Firstie 3-23 1st Grade Pajama Party program!   Program Details On March 23 please have your child wear pajamas to school and bring a stuffed animal.  We  will be performing for students during the school day.
